Ansley was a member of Alabama’s coaching staff, led by former head coach Nick Saban. He spent two separate stints with the Crimson Tide. He was a graduate assistant from 2010-2011. He returned to Tuscaloosa in 2016 and served as the defensive backs coach. Ansley trained athletes such as Marlon Humphrey and Minkah Fitzpatrick.

After his second stint with the Crimson Tide, Ansley was hired as the Oakland Raiders’ defensive backs coach. Following one season with the Raiders, Ansley was appointed as Tennessee’s defensive coordinator and defensive backs coach.

He was with the Volunteers from 2019 to 2020.
