Following their Wild Card triumph over the Denver Broncos, the Buffalo Bills prepare for a Divisional Round battle against the Baltimore Ravens. Before the Bills’ Divisional Round game, the team made a historic statement concerning quarterback Josh Allen. Buffalo stated that Allen has appeared in the most NFL playoff games with a passer rating of 135 or above.
He concluded the win over the Broncos with a 135.4 passer rating, the fourth time he has done so. “That’s our quarterback,” the Bills captioned the post. Allen surpassed Kurt Warner, Peyton Manning, and Joe Montana for the historic achievement.
Allen threw for two touchdowns and 272 yards against the Broncos, with a 76.9 completion percentage and an 87.8 QBR. Allen has 28 touchdowns and 3,731 yards this season, with a completion rate of 63.6 percent. He has also tallied 12 touchdowns and 531 yards. Allen contributed 471 total yards and 26 first downs to the Bills’ 31-7 victory.
Allen and the Bills will now face the Lamar Jackson-led Baltimore Ravens in a game that ESPN expects will be a toss-up on the betting lines. ESPN BET lists the Bills as a 1-point underdog. Buffalo enters the Divisional Round with a 14-4 record, including a 9-0 mark at home.
