Following a highly successful Junior Day event, Washington’s coaching staff secured commitments from two 2026 prospects. Cornerbacks both committed to the Huskies, bringing the program’s 2026 recruiting class to six total pledges as the team inches closer to Spring practice.
Washington’s 2026 Recruiting Taking Shape
Jiles Commits to Washington
The day after Washington’s Junior Day, Ksani Jiles announced his commitment to the Huskies on social media. He was among roughly 40 recruits who visited campus during the March 8th weekend. Jiles had also previously visited Washington last November for the UCLA game. During the January recruiting contact period, head coach Jedd Fisch and four members of his staff made an in-person visit to Jiles at his high school. Fisch extended an offer to the California native in February 2024, while Jiles was still committed to Miami. Just two days later, Jiles decommitted from the Hurricanes, reopened his recruitment, and has now committed to Washington.
A Southern California native, Ksani Jiles now suits up for IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL, one of the country’s premier high school football programs. Standing at 6-foot, Jiles is a physical and instinctive cornerback with strong awareness in the secondary. He’s quick to diagnose underneath routes or running plays and isn’t afraid to aggressively close in to make tackles. His physical style makes him a versatile option who could contribute at either slot or outside corner. A three-star prospect, Jiles ranks among the top 75 cornerbacks nationally and is one of two corners currently committed to Washington.

Durr Commits to Washington
The Huskies’ second cornerback commitment comes from Elijah Durr, who also visited campus during Washington’s early March recruiting weekend. Just two days after the event, Durr announced his commitment via social media. A three-star prospect from Mount Tahoma High School in Tacoma, Durr is ranked as the No. 7 player in Washington by 247Sports and is among the top 70 cornerbacks nationally. Washington extended an offer to Durr last June, competing with programs like Cal, Michigan State, Wisconsin, and Arizona for his pledge.
Durr is a dynamic two-way player, contributing at both wide receiver and cornerback for Mount Tahoma. As a junior last fall, he recorded five pass breakups, three interceptions, and two fumble recoveries on defense. Offensively, Durr tallied eight touchdowns and 445 receiving yards on 26 catches. Standing at 6-foot-1, Durr brings versatility to the field and currently ranks as the third-highest rated player in Washington’s 2026 class, as well as the Huskies’ third in-state commitment.
