Josh Allen has pretty much experienced it all. The Buffalo Bills quarterback shared the strangest place a fan has ever asked him for an autograph.
“I did sign something unusual,” Allen told PEOPLE during a flag football event at Saddleback College. “A guy told me he had a tattoo of my number on his back. I expected it to be small, but it stretched from the base of his neck all the way to his hips,” Allen explained.
“So, I signed a piece of paper, and he ended up tattooing my signature right above the number,” he added.
Allen — who recently secured a $330 million contract extension with the Bills — mentioned that he didn’t have to pause wedding planning to take part in the flag football charity event. The tournament aimed to raise funds for the Boys and Girls Clubs of America and other nonprofit organizations. Also in attendance were former New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers, Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff, Hall of Famer Terrell Owens, and Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver DK Metcalf.
Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld’s Wedding Plans
The Bills quarterback is continuing to plan his wedding to actress Hailee Steinfeld, who he started dating in 2023. Allen popped the question last November beneath a floral archway in Malibu.
Would you like me to make it even more conversational or formal depending on your needs?
Although Allen and Steinfeld have kept details of their wedding private, Bills offensive tackle Dion Dawkins revealed that the two are set to get married on May 31. Want me to try an even more casual or polished version too?
“Josh Allen is that guy, and he locked it down. It’s coming up soon—May 31, it’s happening,” Dawkins said during a March 7 appearance on Good Morning Football when asked if he had any weddings on the horizon. Would you like me to make the tone more formal or more playful if you’re aiming for a certain style?
Although neither Allen nor Steinfeld has officially confirmed their wedding date, a source previously told Us Weekly that the couple is aiming to tie the knot sooner rather than later.
“They’re not planning on a long engagement, and preparations are already in motion,” the insider shared. “Hailee is thrilled about organizing everything, and now that Josh’s season is over, she’s hoping they’ll have more time to make decisions together.”
The source added, “Their available dates are limited, so they’re finalizing logistics and currently scouting locations. It’s expected to be an intimate yet lavish affair.”
Guest details are still uncertain, but Allen recently celebrated his bachelor party earlier this month, suggesting that attendees like his brother Jason Allen, Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid, Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold, Jaguars wide receiver Christian Kirk, Steelers quarterback Kyle Allen (no relation to Josh), and NFL agent Tee Stumb may also be part of the wedding.
On Steinfeld’s side, some of her celebrity friends who could make an appearance include Taylor Swift—who is currently dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce—Emma Stone, and Selena Gomez.
