Huge Mistake: Insiders Believes Bill Are Doomed For Taking This Bold Decisions

Marcus Mosher of The 33rd Team believes the Buffalo Bills made a mistake by signing top star to a fully guaranteed one-year, $8.3 million contract. He was released by the Steelers, just before free agency, despite the team having ample cap space—suggesting his departure was due to performance rather than financial constraints.

“The Pittsburgh Steelers released him despite having a ton of cap space, which usually isn’t a good sign for a player,” Mosher noted. However, he quickly landed a deal with the Bills early Wednesday morning.

According to Mosher, his performance has been in decline for years. Primarily a pass rusher, he has struggled to generate sacks and has been ineffective against the run. “he has been a declining player for years and he’s always been a poor run defender,” Mosher said. “He can be an adequate pass rusher at times, but even that part of his game has fallen off after recording just six sacks in the past three seasons.”

For the salary the Bills are giving Larry Ogunjobi, he should be a difference-maker—someone capable of lining up alongside Joey Bosa and making key plays when needed. However, Marcus Mosher of The 33rd Team doesn’t believe Ogunjobi fits that description.

“The Bills are paying Ogunjobi to be a starter, and that’s a mistake at this point in his career,” Mosher said. “He should be a rotational defensive tackle earning close to the veteran minimum. This was a clear overpay for a player who isn’t very good.”
