The Baltimore Ravens have come close to reaching conference championships and the Super Bowl during Lamar Jackson’s tenure but have yet to break through in a competitive AFC that includes the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs. Despite a talented roster on both sides of the ball, Baltimore has struggled to take the final step.
Kansas City recently secured another Super Bowl appearance but fell to the Philadelphia Eagles in their third straight trip to the big game. Following the loss, some key players opted for new opportunities, including wide receiver. Now a Raven, he could provide Jackson and Baltimore with the boost they need to contend for a championship.
The Ravens officially announced the signing on social media, posting: “WELCOME TO BALTIMORE, DeAndre Hopkins. We have agreed to terms on a contract with WR DeAndre Hopkins.” The veteran receiver joins Baltimore on a one-year deal worth up to $6 million.

Hopkins began the 2024 season with the Tennessee Titans before being traded to the Kansas City Chiefs. He finished the year with 56 receptions for 610 yards and five touchdowns. Though he’s in the latter stages of his career, Hopkins adds valuable experience to Baltimore’s receiving corps.
Over his 12-year NFL career, Hopkins has earned three All-Pro selections and five Pro Bowl appearances, further solidifying his reputation as one of the league’s most accomplished wide receivers. The Ravens ended the season with a 13-6 record, securing a playoff win against the Pittsburgh Steelers before falling to the Buffalo Bills in the postseason.
