With 82 wins, Scheyer now holds the record for the most victories by any coach in ACC history through his first three seasons, surpassing North Carolina’s Bill Guthridge, who won 80 games from 1998 to 2000.
Taking over from legendary coach Mike Krzyzewski, who guided Duke to 13 regular-season titles, 15 ACC tournament championships, and five national titles from 1980 to 2022, Scheyer faced immense expectations. Now, with the regular season behind them, the Blue Devils are set to enter the ACC Tournament as the top seed. They will receive a bye for the first two rounds and will begin their tournament run in the quarterfinals on March 13.
