Josh Allen may have missed out on a Super Bowl ring, but the Buffalo Bills quarterback will be getting a different kind of ring soon.
Bills teammate Dion Dawkins recently revealed the wedding date for Allen and actress Hailee Steinfeld, who got engaged last fall. Allen had previously hinted that he was ready to tie the knot, and the couple chose a relatively short engagement, ensuring the wedding takes place well before training camp begins this summer.
Josh Allen, Hailee Steinfeld to Wed in Late Spring
In an interview with Kyle Brandt, Bills offensive lineman Dion Dawkins was asked if he had any weddings to attend this offseason. As one of Buffalo’s longest-tenured players, Dawkins didn’t hesitate to reveal the exact date of Josh Allen’s upcoming wedding.
“Josh Allen is one of those guys, you know he sealed that deal,” Dawkins said. “And soon to come, May 31, it’s happening.”
Allen and actress Hailee Steinfeld were first linked in May 2023 after being spotted on several dates, later confirming their relationship. Things progressed quickly, with Steinfeld frequently attending Bills games and the couple moving in together at Allen’s home outside of Buffalo.
In November, Allen took to Instagram to announce that he had proposed to Steinfeld, making their engagement official.
A source told People magazine at the time that Allen and Steinfeld were deeply in love and had the full support of their families.
“They’ve been head over heels from the start,” the source said. “Their families are thrilled.”

Josh Allen Shared Love With Soon-To-Be Wife
Though Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld have kept their relationship mostly private, the Bills quarterback hasn’t been shy about expressing his love for her.
In a December issue of her BEAU SOCIETY newsletter, Steinfeld asked Allen a series of questions, including how he felt on the day he proposed. Allen admitted he was “very nervous” and most concerned about keeping it a surprise.
“I was very nervous,” Allen said. “I think I was most nervous about you finding out about the proposal. It was hard to keep secrets from you and have other people in your life keep secrets from you. Then multiple times throughout the day, a song would come on and I would tear up thinking about how special our day was going to be.”
Ironically, Steinfeld unknowingly eased his nerves by bringing up marriage earlier that same day.
“The funniest thing was that we woke up and were getting ready for brunch, and you jumped on the bed and said, ‘Can we get married already?!? What are you waiting for??!’” Allen recalled. “I replied, ‘Just give me a little more time.’ Little did you know I was about to propose to you…”
Allen also expressed his appreciation for Steinfeld during his NFL MVP acceptance speech, where he thanked everyone across the Bills organization and gave special recognition to his fiancée.
“And last, but not least, my fiancée, Hailee, who… you’ve been my rock,” Allen said. “You are my best friend. I would not be standing on this stage if it weren’t for you.”
