Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen had a stellar 2024 season, earning the first MVP award of his career despite the team’s playoff exit at the hands of the Kansas City Chiefs.
Now, the 28-year-old is expanding his success beyond the field. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Allen has signed a multiyear deal with Skydance, a company already partnered with the NFL, to launch his own media company. Through this venture, he will co-develop and produce original programming, following a path similar to Peyton Manning’s Omaha Productions and LeBron James’ SpringHill Company.
While the exact nature of Allen’s content remains unclear, Manning’s company is well-known for producing “The Manning-Cast” on Monday Night Football, while James’ SpringHill Company develops film, television, and marketing projects. SpringHill also works on athlete-driven storytelling and apparel branding, suggesting Allen’s venture could explore similar opportunities in the sports and entertainment space.
Josh Allen delivered a strong 2024 season despite a reduced passing volume compared to previous years. The Bills quarterback totaled 3,731 passing yards, 531 rushing yards, 40 combined touchdowns, and just six interceptions while completing 63.6% of his passes.
His six interceptions marked a career-low and the first time he finished a season with single-digit turnovers, which played a key role in Buffalo’s offensive efficiency. However, many believe the Bills need to add more weapons in the passing game to help Allen reach his full potential.
Buffalo holds the No. 30 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft but faces financial challenges heading into free agency. According to Spotrac, the Bills are one of six teams projected to be over the salary cap, meaning general manager Brandon Beane will need to make strategic moves to improve the roster.
