Bills make ground-breaking announcement about Josh Allen’s teammate

The Buffalo Bills are entering a key offseason, aiming to rebuild their roster following another disappointing playoff run. Buffalo finished the season 15-5, falling to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship for the fourth time in a row. Aside from the setback, they defeated the Denver Broncos and the Baltimore Ravens in the early round of the playoffs. As the Bills want to return to the title game and exact revenge, they agreed to extend one of their most potent offensive weapons. Buffalo finalized a contract extension with wide receiver Khalil Shakir, which was revealed on Monday.

“Pen to paper,” the Bills captioned the photo. Shakir agreed to a four-year, $60.2 million contract extension with the Bills.

Last season, Shakir had four touchdowns and 821 yards on 76 receptions. Shakir has been with the Bills since the 2022 season, after being selected in the fifth round of the NFL Draft. Shakir has seven touchdowns, 1,593 yards, and 125 receptions in three seasons with the Buffalo Bills. Shakir will now continue his career with quarterback Josh Allen, who was named NFL MVP last season. Allen led the Bills’ offense with 28 touchdowns, 3,731 yards, and a 63.6 completion percentage.
