Jeff Stoutland of the Eagles has reunited with a former assistant to bolster Philadelphia’s offensive line coaching staff for next season.
As reported by Eliot Shorr-Parks of 94WIP Radio, the Eagles have hired top veteran star, who previously served as the team’s assistant offensive line coach from 2013 to 2015 under Stoutland.
After the 2015 season, the Eagles parted ways with head coach Chip Kelly and brought in Doug Pederson as his replacement. He did not remain on Pederson’s staff in Philadelphia and instead took over as Central Florida’s offensive line coach in 2016.
Since then, he has coached at three different college programs—UCF, Nebraska, and Florida International—and spent the last two seasons as an assistant with the Jacksonville Jaguars under Pederson.
Austin will take over as the Eagles’ assistant offensive line coach, replacing T.J. Pagnetti, who joined the New Orleans Saints as their offensive line coach for the 2025 season.
