BREAKING: Georgia Lands Another Great Gem Against Stiff Competition

In recent years, Georgia football and Kirby Smart have placed a greater focus on recruiting in-state talent. This approach continues with the 2026 class, which makes sense given the abundance of top-tier prospects in Georgia.

While many Georgia recruits consistently rank high on recruiting sites, the state also produces hidden gems each year. Smart and his staff are already targeting one such under-the-radar player who hasn’t received much attention from recruiting services yet.

3-star IOL Graham Houston

Offensive lineman Graham Houston is an intriguing prospect, despite not currently being ranked on 247Sports. However, that doesn’t reflect his talent, as evidenced by the impressive programs in his top four.

Houston’s top schools are Georgia, Florida, Florida State, and Ole Miss. It’s hard to believe any of these programs would pursue a player who isn’t talented, so it’s likely only a matter of time before 247Sports and other recruiting sites give him the recognition he deserves.

According to the On3 Industry Ranking, Houston is the No. 575 overall player in the country, the No. 56 interior offensive lineman in the 2026 class, and the No. 57 player in Georgia.

While no official predictions have been made yet, On3 currently gives Georgia the best chance to land Houston with a 38% projection. This makes sense, given Georgia’s in-state advantage and their track record of success with players from Buford.

Although it remains to be seen where Houston will commit, Georgia fans have good reason to feel optimistic about this recruitment.
