While the Buffalo Bills did not make it to the Super Bowl, they did have a memorable night in New Orleans on February 6. Josh Allen, the Bills quarterback, was named Most Valuable Player at the NFL Honors on Thursday evening.
Allen concluded the regular season with 3,731 passing yards, 28 touchdowns, and only six interceptions. He also carried 531 yards and scored 12 touchdowns. While Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson appeared to have the award in the bag after receiving first-team All-Pro honors, more voters believed Allen, who was selected second-team All-Pro, offered the most value to his club.
Allen’s fiancée, Hailee Steinfeld, sat in the front row as he won the prize.
While Allen and the Oscar-nominated actress began dating in May 2023 and became engaged in November, this was their first joint red carpet appearance.
Steinfeld has posted only two photographs of Allen on Instagram in the last year and a half, including their shared engagement post. So her tribute to the Buffalo Bills standout on Saturday, February 8, grabbed rapid attention.
She shared a photo of her future husband taking the award at the Saenger Theatre with her 20.3 million followers, writing, “That’s MVP Josh Allen to you! .” Allen commented in the comments, “I love you .”
