Dallas Cowboys: Dak Prescott Makes Major Personal Announcement Amid Injury Recovery

In late 2024, news broke that Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and his fiancée, Sarah Jane Ramos, were expecting their second child.

On Tuesday, Prescott took to Instagram Stories to post a photo featuring himself, Ramos, and their daughter Margaret Jane “MJ” Rose, along with the caption: “& there’s another Girl Coming.”

It appears the three-time Pro Bowl quarterback is preparing for life with an even busier household. Ramos, who opened up about motherhood in a December 10 interview with Sports Illustrated, reflected on the experience, saying, “It’s incredibly meaningful to be a woman in today’s world, to witness your siblings grow and feel empowered, looking up to you as a role model while also embracing their individuality and becoming who they’re meant to be.”

Dallas Cowboys’ Prescott still recovering from surgery

Prescott played in just eight games during the 2024 season before a hamstring injury, which eventually required surgery, brought his year to an early end. Now 31, he’s still recovering from the procedure. Although it’s still unclear whether he’ll be ready for the start of the 2025 season, his recovery appears to be progressing well.

“Dak’s doing great,” said Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones, via Jon Machota of The Athletic. “He’s making good progress. He’s really pleased with where he’s at, and the trainers are too. I think he’s doing an outstanding job.”

In his most recent mostly healthy season in 2023, Prescott passed for 4,516 yards, 36 touchdowns, and just nine interceptions over 17 games.
