Steph Curry plans to continue launching long-range shots for as long as he plays in the NBA. Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors might be looking to pair him with another sharpshooter, according to ESPN’s latest 2025 NBA Draft mock projections.
The Warriors currently hold just the No. 42 overall pick, but the mock draft highlights an intriguing possibility: Duke freshman Isaiah Evans. Despite being the least celebrated of Duke’s four standout freshmen—three of whom are projected as top-10 picks, including No. 1 prospect Cooper Flagg—Evans has still shown plenty of talent.

The 6-foot-6 guard is shooting an impressive 44.4 percent from beyond the arc. Although he averages only 14.1 minutes per game, his recent performances have showcased his NBA-caliber shooting ability, making it plausible for him to jump to the league after just one season.
Evans is putting up 7.7 points per game overall, but he has reached double digits in five of his last seven outings, finishing the season on a high note.
The Warriors acquired this second-round pick through a trade that sent Dennis Schroeder to the Nets, who had previously obtained the pick from the Heat. Its final position in the second round will depend on how the Heat finish their season.
