A standout at IMG Academy in Florida, originally hails from Southern California and has been making waves on the recruiting trail. The 6-foot, 180-pound defensive back is rated a three-star prospect by 247Sports composite rankings and is recognized as one of Florida’s top players. Nationally, he ranks as the No. 34 cornerback in his class, though some recruiting services project him as a safety at the college level. His versatility and athleticism make him a valuable asset for the Huskies’ defense.

This isn’t Jiles’ first major recruiting decision. He initially committed to Miami in May 2023 but reopened his recruitment on Feb. 7, 2024—just two days after receiving an offer from Washington. His decision to flip to the Huskies speaks volumes about the program’s ability to attract top talent. Jiles had no shortage of options, holding offers from powerhouse programs such as LSU, Ohio State, USC, Oklahoma, and Penn State, among others.
