Breaking News: Georgia Bulldogs Flips A Highly Sought-after Playmaker From Rival Program

The Georgia Bulldogs have made significant progress in their pursuit of a top quarterback in the 2026 recruiting class. Their primary focus has been Jared Curtis from Nashville, Tennessee, the No. 1 quarterback in the class, as they battle Oregon for his commitment.

At the same time, Georgia has actively recruited top star from Celina, Texas, who ranks No. 5 in On3’s rankings and No. 9 in the composite rankings.  He narrowed his choices to three schools, with Georgia making the cut. He has scheduled an official visit to Athens from June 6-8, according to Hayes Fawcett of On3.

Georgia faces stiff competition from two other SEC programs—the Oklahoma Sooners and LSU Tigers. Bentley will visit Oklahoma from June 13-15 before concluding his visits at LSU from June 20-22. Before this update, On3 projected Oklahoma as the frontrunner with a 39% chance of landing Bentley, followed by Florida State at 18% and Georgia at 15%. While Oklahoma’s proximity to Bentley’s hometown of Celina could still be an advantage, Georgia’s chances have now significantly improved.
