Breaking: Done deal!! Bills Officially Land ‘Solid’ Tackle Leader In Blockbuster Move

The Buffalo Bills already have two solid linebackers on their roster, but they’re banking on them staying healthy for the 2025 season—a risky assumption. While Terrel Bernard has proven to be a reliable starter, former All-Pro Matt Milano has struggled with significant injuries in consecutive seasons. Recognizing the need for a dependable backup, the team is exploring potential options.

Kyle Soppe of Pro Football & Sports Network suggests one possible solution: Dallas Cowboys linebacker Eric Kendricks, a well-known tackling machine.

“The Bills may move on from Matt Milano,” Soppe notes. “If that happens, Kendricks could step in, even in a limited role. Teams with elite quarterbacks often take calculated risks on defense, knowing that if they find value, their postseason chances improve significantly. Buffalo’s sack rate dropped to 23rd last season after ranking third from 2021-23. While they don’t need to be the league’s best defense, improving to at least an average sack rate would boost their championship hopes.”

At 33, Kendricks is no longer in his prime, but he has remained remarkably durable, playing in over 15 games each of the last four seasons. While some within the Cowboys’ organization pushed for his return, that possibility appears to have faded—opening the door for a potential move to Buffalo. Given Milano’s injury history, that kind of reliability is exactly what the Bills need.
