The Baltimore Ravens head into the 2025 offseason with an opportunity to strengthen an already formidable roster that propelled them to a 12-5 record and a Divisional Round appearance last season. While the team is well-balanced, the defense could benefit from additional reinforcements after ranking ninth in points allowed per game (21.2) and 10th in total yards allowed per game (324.2) in 2024.
A free agent defensive lineman, is mulling to joing the ravens,” Jackson reported. “Retirement isn’t out of the question, either.”
At 38 years old, he remains a valuable asset, bringing experience, leadership, and a strong presence on the defensive line. If the Ravens manage to bring him back, he could provide a veteran boost to their defense as they aim for another deep playoff run in 2025.
Even at 38 years old, he remained a productive force for the Miami Dolphins last season. He started all 17 games, recording 52 tackles, five sacks, 12 tackles for loss, 20 pressures, and nine hurries. If he were to sign with the Baltimore Ravens, it would mark a homecoming, as he previously spent three seasons with the team from 2020 to 2022, earning one of his six career Pro Bowl selections during that stretch.
Campbell would be joining an already dominant Ravens pass rush, which ranked among the league’s best in 2024. Baltimore finished second in the NFL with 54 sacks, eighth with 159 pressures, and 10th with 61 quarterback knockdowns. His presence would add veteran leadership and depth to an already strong defensive front.
Financially, bringing Campbell back would be a cost-effective move for the Ravens. According to Spotrac, his market value is estimated at $7.1 million per year—significantly less than his career earnings of $144.6 million.
If Baltimore is looking for a proven veteran to bolster its defensive line without a major financial commitment, Campbell could be an ideal fit.
