Bills Announce Exciting News After Josh Allen’s MVP Season

The Buffalo Bills are coming off a strong 15-5 season, with MVP Josh Allen leading the way. The team’s quarterback guided Buffalo to the AFC Championship Game, where they were ultimately defeated by Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.

As the Bills look ahead to the 2025 season, much of the focus has been on the progress of their new Highmark Stadium. On Saturday, the team shared an exciting milestone in the stadium’s construction with the “Topping Off Ceremony,” where the final steel beam was placed on the stadium’s structure. Bills owner Terry Pegula expressed his appreciation for the construction workers involved in the project, stating, “We’re calling it the Topping Off Ceremony. It’s the last piece of steel we’re going to put on the stadium. I call it the first piece of building the rest of the stadium.”

Before Pegula addressed the media, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, New York Governor Kathy Hochul, and Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz shared their thoughts on the future of the franchise.

“I really believe this is going to secure this franchise here for decades,” Goodell remarked. “This is where I need to be right here, right now,” Hochul added. “This symbolizes the greatness of our state and its people.” Poloncarz reflected, “When you stand next to the stadium, the future home of the Buffalo Bills, you realize not only how big the stadium is, but the impact the stadium has had in this community.”

The Bills are making these significant renovations after their star quarterback, Josh Allen, completed an MVP-caliber season. Last year, Allen threw for 28 touchdowns and 3,731 yards, completing 63.6% of his passes, while also adding 12 touchdowns and 531 rushing yards.
