The Kentucky Wildcats have secured another major commitment in the class of 2025.
On Wednesday, 4-star recruit Kalen Edwards revealed his commitment to Kentucky on Twitter. This comes following his official visit to Lexington on June 21st. His primary recruiters were defensive coordinator Brad White and defensive line coach Anwar Stewart.
“I adore [my relationship with coach Stewart]. I believe he has the potential to help me develop and advance to the next level. It was all love. When I arrived, it was pure love from the moment I came through the door. He was cool. “He kept it real,” Edwards stated in an interview with CatsPause.
The 6-foot-4, 315-pound Edwards attended Dyersburg High School in Tennessee. He is presently ranked 342nd nationwide, 38th among defensive lineman, and 10th in Tennessee by the 247 Sports Composite, which includes all major recruiting rankings. He plans to play defensive tackle at the collegiate level.
Edwards’ other scholarship offers included the Georgia Bulldogs, Miami Hurricanes, Tennessee Volunteers, Ole Miss Rebels, and Oregon Ducks. He was previously committed to the Auburn Tigers but backed out in March.
This increases Kentucky’s 2025 recruiting class to 16 commitments. It is now ranked 18th overall by 247 and 20th by On3.
