Linebacker Zaydrius Rainey-Sale said that UCLA football was one of three schools left in his search for a collegiate football home. He will reveal his decision on July 1st.
If the Bruins acquire the four-star, it will be the 12th 2025 commitment and might propel the recruiting class into the top 25. DeShaun Foster has made a significant impact in his first year as head coach. Foster made a scholarship offer to the Washington native in early March of this year, one of the last 20 schools to do so, and he formally visited UCLA a month ago.
The Florida Seminoles and the Washington Huskies are his other two finalists. On3’s recruiting prediction algorithm offers the Huskies a 94.4 percent chance of success. UCLA and FSU have less than a 2% chance.
Rainey-Sale’s commitment to the Huskies lasted only four days in January.
