According to reports, AC Milan are looking for a new midfielder and have Ezequiel Fernandez of Boca Juniors on their radar.
According to this morning’s issue of La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below), Milan are also searching outside of Europe for prospective reinforcements to the squad who could arrive in the following transfer windows.
A Milan scout went in Argentina to watch Ezequiel Fernandez, a Boca Juniors central midfielder, and the trip did not go unnoticed.
The feeling is that Fernandez would be an excellent match at the base of a midfield three, in the position currently occupied by Rade Krunic and Yacine Adli, albeit at the moment there is only interest expressed rather than serious discussions.
The adoration for the 21-year-old is apparently shared in Europe, where Benfica and Liverpool, among others, have made approaches to Argentina in recent months.
Milan are still seeking for youthful talent, and they are in talks with Real Betis about Juan Miranda, as well as exploring South America.
