Breaking: Indiana make offer to commit one of the country’s best talent

Indiana has given an offer to Jarvis Strickland, a 2026 Top247 talent.

Indiana has joined the recruiting fight for one of the country’s best 2026 prospects, offering Jarvis Strickland from

Paducah Tilghman High School in Paducah, Kentucky. The 6-foot-6, 294-pound offensive lineman speaks to Peegs.com about receiving an offer from Indiana.

Strickland stated that, while he is still learning about the IU program, one aspect that he particularly enjoys is the conference that they participate in.

“I don’t really know much about Indiana, but something that stands out is that they’re in the Big Ten,” he stated. “I’d prefer to play in the Big Ten.”

The four-star recruit has only recently begun interacting with the Indiana coaches, and they have made it plain that they are impressed by his stature.

“I haven’t had much communication with the coaches so far, but I do know that they like my size,” Strickland said of the IU message.

Strickland said he plans to visit Bloomington this autumn to get a better feel for the Hoosiers and what they have to offer.

“I have not made any plans to visit there, but I’d like to get up for a game,” he said of a possible Indiana visit.

Strickland and his Paducah Tilghman teammates had a successful 2023 season, going 13-1 and making a long run in the state playoffs.

“This past season, my team did great, but we unfortunately lost in semi-state,” he stated of his sophomore season. “For me individually I think I most improved on my hands and grappling.”
