Ibrahimovic’s former team-mate now in pole position for Milan job

Recent reports have introduced several potential candidates for the next AC Milan manager, with one individual emerging as a leading contender, according to a recent report claiming he’s now the frontrunner.

Amidst uncertainties about Milan’s future, it’s evident that Stefano Pioli won’t continue leading the Rossoneri. The decision has been looming for months, particularly after a series of poor results, making his departure seem inevitable.

The recent defeats against AS Roma and Inter Milan have highlighted the severity of the situation, prompting the management to take action. It’s possible that the team requires fresh ideas and a new source of motivation, leading to considerations of potential replacements.

Among the candidates being evaluated is Mark van Bommel, a former teammate of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who has voiced his support for him.
