The Duke basketball crew is still looking for premier sniper Koby Brea.
As it stands, Duke basketball has a relatively intimidating roster for next season. It includes the nation’s top incoming class, led by top-ranked recruit Cooper Flagg, two backcourt players with starter experience for the Blue Devils in returning junior Tyrese Proctor and sophomore Caleb Foster, and two veteran transfer additions thus far, forwards Maliq Brown and Mason Gillis.
However, with the option of awarding three further scholarships, head coach Jon Scheyer appears determined to attract another great player or two for his third season in Durham. He might bring some minutes-worthy depth and experience, both on the perimeter and in the paint.
Former Dayton sharpshooter Koby Brea is still a guy to keep an eye on in the transfer portal for Duke basketball’s perimeter needs.
On Monday afternoon, Dushawn London of 247Sports reported that the 21-year-old Brea, a 6-foot-6 New York native with one year of NCAA eligibility remaining as a graduate transfer, is currently considering only five schools. Duke, Kentucky, UNC, UConn, and Kansas are arguably the top five modern-day blueblood universities.
London claimed that all five suitors had finished Zoom calls with Brea.

Koby Brea averaged 11.1 points and 3.8 rebounds per game this season, shooting an NCAA-best 49.8 percent from beyond the arc for the Flyers, who finished 25-8 and advanced to the NCAA Tournament Round of 32 before losing to Arizona.
There is no information on when Brea will decide on his location.
