Having yet to agree to a contract extension with Juventus, the Frenchman could be looking for a new challenge, according to reports the Magpies have already ‘registered an interest’.
The former Paris Saint-Germain playmaker has been linkthed with a surprise move to St. James’ Park, and he might become the next high-profile figure to arrive in England’s northeast.
However, the Magpies are not the only team in contention for the France international. Manchester United have long been admirers, and after being linked with a transfer for the past two windows, they may finally reach an agreement with the player’s management ahead of what promises to be a busy summer at Old Trafford.
Rabiot, who has won 22 major domestic championships in his career, has contributed 36 goals in 206 games across all competitions since moving to Turin from Paris in 2019.
