Leicester City centre-back Conor Coady has revealed what the players discussed following their consecutive defeats to Millwall and Plymouth Argyle.
It’s been a difficult spell for Enzo Maresca’s team, which has been dragged back into the chasing pack following a run of six defeats in ten Championship games.
City’s automatic promotion ambitions are currently in jeopardy, as they are only one point ahead of third-placed Leeds United, who have played one more game.
Last week, a tale surfaced saying that Maresca shut his players in the changing room at Home Park and conducted a one-hour debriefing.
Coady, appearing on Monday Night Club, revealed what Leicester players have been talking about in the last week.

The Plymouth game last Friday was much discussed, with traveling fans dissatisfied with City’s underwhelming showing.
It was the East Midlanders’ second setback on the road in a week, and they failed to score in both games, which is troubling as the season nears its end.
Coady has revealed what was said following the awful run of losses: “From our perspective, we’ve spoken as a team over the last week about the results we’ve had in Leicester.
“Because we can’t focus on anybody else, we can’t influence what they’re doing. (We’ve) looked at ourselves and said, “Right, it’s just us.”
The 31-year-old went on to say, “We focus on ourselves, we do certain things, and that’s how you have to be, and that’s how we believe we have to be, because when you get to this point in the season, you’re within touching distance of what you want, what you’re desperate for, and what you’ve worked all season for.
“But like I said, 100% as human beings I’d be silly if I sit how now and go ‘I don’t look at any results’.”
Attention turns towards West Bromwich Albion
Leicester should forget about their recent two results and focus on what Coady mentioned.
If they do the basics right, they will be too much for a visiting Albion side that is 16 points behind them despite having played one more game.
Defensively, they’ve played significantly below their usual standards and have lacked attention in crucial situations, so that’s definitely an area for improvement.
Their goal-scoring difficulties have been particularly noticeable in the last two games, with several opportunities spurned.
So, once again, they’ll need to do a lot more work on this.
