Milan finally get greenlight to sign the perfect Olivier Giroud replacement

AC Milan will recruit a new striker in the forthcoming transfer window, and various options remain open as summer approaches. Viktor Gyokeres is one of the club’s long-term targets, and his agent has provided an update on his client’s future.

Milan has been crying out for a future striker for long years, despite Olivier Giroud’s constant performance. However, with his transfer to Los Angeles FC all but inevitable, the Rossoneri must invest now.

Several options have been examined, and the prices of their targets vary, with Gyokeres being the most expensive. The Swedish striker adapted quickly to life in Portugal and has been really impressive.

As a result, the Portuguese club will be inundated with bids throughout the summer.

Gyokeres’ agent, Hasan Cetinkaya, spoke to the Portuguese newspaper Record regarding the Swede’s future and what could change his route; his statements were relayed by PianetaMilan.

“It’s crucial to understand the future of Sporting, especially with Rúben Amorim. We arrived here owing to him.

“Many clubs want to buy him. But we must respect Sporting because we chose him and provided him the opportunity to convey his ideas to us. We have not made a decision, and will not make one now, whether to join this or that club or stay. There are eight games remaining until we make a decision, but the future is also dependent on what happens to Amorim.”

“Sporting is a club that should sell. We need to address it with the president. We have a lot of respect for him. I can be absolutely frank and declare that there are no discussions on contract renewal.”
