Odds Show A Clear Favorite To Win The NFC This Season

It’s never too early to check into next year’s Super Bowl betting odds.

The San Francisco 49ers fell short in the big game this season despite being two points ahead of the Kansas City Chiefs, and after an exciting summer, it looks that all roads lead back to the same place.

PFF released a graphic showing the NFC favorites for next season, and the Niners are once again the favorite at +250, with the Detroit Lions close behind at +550 and the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys following at +700.

How Much Do You Know About The San Francisco 49ers?

The Green Bay Packers are +850 after making an unexpected run to the Divisional Round of last year’s playoffs, where they nearly defeated the 49ers to set up an NFC North clash in the NFC Championship Game.

The Atlanta Falcons (+1000) are a surprising addition to this list, since they now have a quarterback after signing Kirk Cousins, who many believe might be the missing piece to an attack stocked with weapons.

This ranking is not that shocking, since the Niners and Lions will be returning their whole cores from last season and might easily find their way back to a rematch to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl.

San Francisco lost a few defensive players to free agency, including Arik Armstead and Chase Young, but there’s no reason to assume they won’t be a serious contender to repeat as NFC champions in 2024.

The main question will be whether they can finally get over the hump and return some hardware to the Bay.
