When head coach Sean McDermott took over the Buffalo Bills, they moved from being an NFL laughingstock to AFC East champions.
The Bills, led by McDermott and star quarterback Josh Allen, have consistently been one of the best teams in the league, despite falling short multiple times.
Buffalo has won their division four times in a row, yet they have yet to get to the Super Bowl, owing in major part to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Regardless, the Bills are still one of the few legitimate contenders coming into the 2024 NFL season thanks to McDermott, Allen, and the rest of the roster.
Despite their previous failings, McDermott and his team are still intent on winning the Super Bowl, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
“But we’re all still with one eye on the world championship, that’s what drives us every morning when we get up.” McDermott said.
“What's left for Josh (Allen) and for all of us is to take that one more step that we need to take."

For a team that has been to the playoffs several times, the Bills have little choice but to go all in for a championship.
With a superstar behind center, Buffalo should do all in its power to seize the opportunity, but getting over the hump hasn’t been the team’s strong suit.
While the Bills may command their own division, the Chiefs rule the AFC, and the path to a Super Bowl appearance passes via Kansas City.
Allen will have to overcome his duel with Patrick Mahomes, while McDermott must outwit Andy Reid.
Buffalo has the pieces to win a championship, but it is up to them to go out and do it.
