AC Milan now favorites to sign “special” £50m star

Arsenal are interested in signing Bologna attacker Joshua Zirkzee, but they have suffered a setback in their pursuit.
According to GIVEMESPORT sources, Arsenal contemplated a deal to sign Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee, but AC Milan is now stepping up their chase, which is seen as a blow to the Gunners.

Mikel Arteta could be looking for a new centre-forward when the summer transfer window opens later this year. His current striker choices have been inconsistent this season, particularly in terms of goal scoring. Kai Havertz, Leandro Trossard, Gabriel Jesus, and Eddie Nketiah have all been used in the middle this season, to varied degrees of success.

Zirkzee might be an excellent long-term option for the north London club, but a move to AC Milan could be a decent step up in a league where he is at ease.

Arsenal Dealt Blow in Zirkzee Pursuit

The Gunners have scouted Zirkzee

According to GMS sources, AC Milan is preparing to increase its interest in Bologna striker Zirkzee. It’s a setback for Arsenal and Manchester United, both of whom scouted him this season and see him as a feasible target for the upcoming transfer window. The Dutch international is in excellent form for the Serie A club, which has a good chance of finishing in the Champions League spots.

Zirkzee is said to want to play in England’s top division someday, although Arsenal may not be able to offer him consistent game time at this point. Although the Bologna attacker is having a great season, at the age of 22, he may be considered more of a long-term possibility for the Gunners than an immediate starter if he moves to the Emirates Stadium.

AC Milan are Serious About Zirkzee

They could make a move in the summer

According to sources, Milan is watching the Dutch striker and is now seriously considering making a move for him during the upcoming transfer window. Olivier Giroud’s future is uncertain, with his contract expiring at the end of the season, and the Italian club is considering Zirkzee as a potential replacement.

According to reports, Bologna is looking for around £50 million to let him go, and Milan would be a decent step up for him, with a realistic prospect of playing frequently. Juventus is also interested in the Schiedam-born striker, who is clearly flourishing in Italy’s top division.
