‘More help for Josh Allen’: Bills and Veteran free agency WR reach agreement

The Buffalo Bills and veteran free agency wide receiver Mack Hollins have reached an agreement, according to ESPN Senior NFL Reporter Jeremy Fowler.

With seven years in the NFL, the 6-foot-4, 221-pound, 30-year-old Hollins brings experience and size to the table, having played for four different teams before joining the Bills.

The Philadelphia Eagles originally selected Hollins in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft. He played collegiately at North Carolina. Between 2017 and 2021, he bounced back and forth between two NFL clubs (Philly—>Miami—>back to Philly—>again to Miami) before signing with the Las Vegas Raiders in 2022.

Hollins’ development as a receiving threat began while he was with Vegas. Hollins appeared in 17 games (starting 16), receiving 57 catches (94 targets) for 690 yards and four touchdowns while also rushing four times for 40 yards.

Hollins played the 2023 season with the Atlanta Falcons, where he saw his output fall while playing in an uninspiring passing attack. Hollins has 1,691 yards and 10 touchdowns on 131 of 222 receptions in his career.

Mack Hollins is also an effective blocker and special teams player for the Buffalo Bills, which will come in handy after the team parted ways with their gunner, defensive back Siran Neal.
