Bayern line up €60-70m move for Milan star who wants to leave

According to reports, Alphonso Davies wants to leave Bayern Munich and join Real Madrid in the summer, and Theo Hernandez is being considered as a potential replacement.

Davies’ contract expires in 2025, and according to Sky Germany, Bayern are requesting between €50-60 million to let the 23-year-old depart, but conversations begin with the understanding that the player wants to leave.

An official offer has not yet been received, but the signals lead to a farewell. Davies is requesting a total salary package of up to €20 million net per year for a contract renewal, which the Bundesliga club’s hierarchy would not provide.

Bayern want to be ready in case of a departure, and Theo Hernandez is ‘one of the top contenders’ to step in and replace Davies. The Frenchman has a contract with the Rossoneri until 2026, but he is ‘willing to change’ after nearly five years at the club.

The Bavarian side is aware of Theo’s willingness to listen to their offer, and the first negotiations have since taken place. A trade is possible, but Milan wants to extend his contract again, while Bayern expects to pay €60-70 million.

As an alternative, the Munich club has chosen Miguel Gutierrez from Girona, LaLiga’s surprise team. He has a €30-35 million release clause, but Theo is much ahead of him in terms of preferences.
