Leao will compete in the UEFA Europa League in the second half of the season, following AC Milan’s elimination from the Champions League group stage, with Slavia Prague in the last 16.
Rivals Inter Milan are favourites to win the Serie A title, with a nine-point advantage at the top of the table.
