The Swiss Football Federation has informed that Noah Okafor has been forced to withdraw from the Switzerland camp owing to a minor head injury. As a result, the AC Milan striker will return to Milanello in the next days.
Milan will resume training at Milanello tomorrow, and Okafor may be present to undergo medical examinations with the Rossoneri personnel. According to the Swiss Football Federation, his withdrawal is due to a “minor head injury.”
Stefano Pioli will be praying it isn’t anything serious, given the week following the international break will be extremely taxing (Juve, PSG, and Napoli all in seven days). Okafor will almost definitely see some action in these if he is available.
As previously said, Okafor will most likely be at Milanello in the coming days for additional tests/checks before returning to training. We will keep you informed of developments.
