Milan will now offer long-term contract to striker

AC Milan is prepared to offer young striker Francesco Camarda his first professional contract, and there is a plan in place to ensure his long-term future.

According to Antonio Vitiello of Milan News, the Rossoneri are well aware that Camarda will turn 16 in less than a month, making him eligible for a professional contract.

He has continued to score goals for Primavera, including two in last weekend’s 3-3 tie with Sassuolo.

He made history as the youngest Serie A player when Pioli brought him on from the bench against Fiorentina earlier this season. It was a momentous event, but he was promptly assigned back to the Primavera squad to complete his growth.

In less than a month, he is likely to sign a two-year contract with Milan, which will last until his 18th birthday. The aim is for him to sign a five-year deal. Players aged 16 to 18 are unable to sign contracts of that length, but he will be eligible to once he turns 18.

The Rossoneri are aware that they have a serious talent on their hands, and they want to safeguard themselves from overseas clubs that may come calling if Camarda is not soon signed.
