Since last season, the media and Buffalo Bills fans have speculated about the happiness of star wide receiver Stefon Diggs. Many feel Diggs is aiming to leave Buffalo as soon as possible, based on his interviews and body language on the field.
On Thursday, however, quarterback Josh Allen appeared on The Pat McAfee Show, when the topic of Stefon Diggs was eventually brought up. Allen responded overwhelmingly positively.
“Stefon Diggs,” McAfee said. “You hate him, he hates you.” Allen smiled, nodding with a “yep” and joking that they were enemies.
McAfee adds to the humor, saying, “Enemies. He tried to DM you on social media, but you deleted your accounts.” He goes on to warn, “Everything you do will be talked about. “During the warmups, you guys are dancing.” Pretending to be the couple discussing their relationship, he shouts, “Oh look, Josh and Diggs are dancing!”
He then warns Josh that if he frowns on the sidelines, everyone will criticize him. He then asks, “You know that at this point, I assume?”
“Absolutely,” Allen says. “We’ve talked about it, and absolutely anything we do on the sideline, good or bad, is communicated properly. Whatever it is, it is examined under a microscope and appraised from every perspective.”
He then says, “We’re just trying to be the best teammates we can be for each other.” I owe a lot of my professional success to him, and I believe he would feel the same way about me. But I adore that guy like a brother. “Always will.”
In conclusion, Josh Allen makes an intriguing statement: “We’re gonna do some big things next year.”
What are your thoughts, Bills fans? Is Stefon Diggs returning for another season to play alongside Josh Allen?
