Prior to the AFC Divisional round matchup between the Buffalo Bills and the Kansas City Chiefs, fans were curious about the presence of Hailee Steinfeld, the girlfriend of Bills quarterback Josh Allen.
Despite Steinfeld avoiding the jumbotron, the Academy Award-nominated actress has been a regular attendee at almost every Bills game throughout the season. On January 21, just a few hours before the kickoff at Highmark Stadium, Lindsey Vega, the founder of the store Leveled Up Buffalo, shared on her Instagram Stories that Steinfeld’s parents, Cheri and Peter, were shopping for Bills merchandise.
This store visit mirrored Steinfeld’s previous shopping excursion with LaVonne Allen, Josh’s mother, ahead of Week 4. Although neither Steinfeld’s nor Allen’s family were featured on the CBS broadcast during the Bills’ 27-24 loss to the Chiefs, keen observers of the “Spiderman: Across the Spider-Verse” star noticed that LaVonne began following Cheri on Instagram.
According to DeuxMoi, Steinfeld watched the Chiefs-Bills playoff game with her parents, Allen’s family, Paige Buechele, wife of third-string quarterback Shane Buechele, and Summer Juraszek, fiancée of backup quarterback Kyle Allen.
Steinfeld’s parents would not be attending their first Bills game of the season. Steinfeld was at SoFi Stadium with her family during the Bills’ 24-22 triumph over the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 16.
Josh Allen’s girlfriend previously shared a suite with Summer and Paige at Highmark Stadium during the Bills’ 27-20 win over the New England Patriots on New Year’s Eve.

Allen and Steinfeld started dating in May, but they keep a quiet profile. Steinfeld most recently celebrated her 27th birthday with Allen in December, coinciding with the Bills’ annual Christmas party.
Steinfeld missed the Bills’ regular-season finale to speak at the Golden Globes, when she openly discussed her connection with Allen for the first time. Walking the red carpet at the awards event, Steinfeld skillfully sidestepped addressing engagement rumors. When asked, “What is it about a sportsy man?” She answered, “Listen, what isn’t it about? “Come on now.”
Another reporter exclaimed “Go Bills!” as he held up Stefon Diggs’ No. 14 jersey. Steinfeld grinned and gave a thumbs up before responding, “Wrong number, though.”
Steinfeld has also made a strong impression on Allen’s colleagues. Ahead of the AFC Divisional round, Bills Pro Bowler Dion Dawkins credited Steinfeld for Allen’s positive outlook heading into the playoffs.
Bills QB Josh Allen Is Confident Buffalo Can Make Another Run Next Season
Allen did his best to lead Buffalo to victory over the Chiefs. He completed 26 of 39 passes for 186 yards and a touchdown, while also rushing 12 times for 72 yards and two touchdowns. Allen, speaking to reporters on January 22, did not hide his disappointment at the setback.
“When you do feel this way, it makes winning all that much more special,” Allen went on to say. “And we won’t run away from this. We’re not going to hide from this. We have to take it on the chin and keep learning and improving, which I understand is not what everyone wants to hear.
They want to see results. We want to see results. Just like you guys, we want to win, and that’s the fact.”
The Bills are nearly $43 million over the cap for the next season. They also have 21 players who will become free agents in March. Allen, on the other hand, is certain that the franchise will find a way to rebound stronger the next season. He doesn’t think the Bills’ Super Bowl window has closed.
“At the end of the season, there’s one happy team,” Allen said. “We’re gonna keep fighting and keep working as hard as we can until we are that one team. So, long road ahead, long offseason. Got to continue to keep putting in the work, getting better in the offseason, getting together with guys, and figuring out what we can do to get over this hump.”
