Breaking: Buffalo Bills Add No. 1 Weapon for MVP Josh Allen

The Buffalo Bills had one of the top offenses in the NFL last season, led by Josh Allen, who embraced the “everybody eats” mentality on his way to winning MVP. Despite averaging 30.9 points per game, many believed the team lacked a true No. 1 wide receiver. To address this, Buffalo acquired Josh Palmer from the Los Angeles Chargers, adding a speed element to their offense in 2025.

However, does the team still need another weapon for Allen? General manager Brandon Beane downplayed the necessity, saying, “I wouldn’t say needs, but we’ll look for competition. Our offense performed well last year. I think Joe Brady, Josh [Allen], and our offensive unit did a great job. We like the addition of Josh Palmer—he fits our system well as another versatile receiver. There’s still time to add players, but do I feel like we have a glaring hole? No.”

BREAKING: Bills Sign WR Khalil Shakir To A Four-Year Contract Extension - Daily Snark

The Bills appear comfortable with their current receiving corps, which includes Khalil Shakir, Palmer, Curtis Samuel, and rookie Keon Coleman, alongside tight ends Dalton Kincaid and Dawson Knox. While adding another receiver remains a possibility, it would be for depth and competition rather than to fill a critical need.

Veteran free agents like Keenan Allen and Tyler Lockett are still available, but their price tags may be more than Buffalo is willing to spend, making the draft a potential route for reinforcement. Beane doesn’t view receiver as a pressing need, but if the right prospect falls to them in the draft, the Bills could make a move.
