Luke Fickell and the Wisconsin Badgers have secured another commitment for the 2026 class, landing their first wide receiver in five-star prospect. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Indiana native has announced his commitment to Wisconsin. According to 247Sports, Bardo is the top-ranked receiver from Indiana and the No. 103 receiver nationally.
Wisconsin edged out programs like Indiana, Michigan State, and several others to secure Tayshon Bardo’s commitment. He is set to take his official visit to Madison in June.

After moving on from quarterback Jarin Mock, the Badgers were left with just one commitment for the 2026 class—offensive lineman Benjamin Novak—before Bardo’s announcement. Despite a slow start, this commitment marks a significant win for Fickell as Indiana continues to emerge as a key recruiting pipeline. Both Bardo and Novak are Indiana natives, as are 2025 recruits Nizyi Davis and Eugene Hilton.
With spring practices set to begin this week, Wisconsin’s focus will shift to hosting official visits, which are expected to generate more commitments throughout the spring and summer. Fickell and his staff are aiming to build another top-25 recruiting class.
