Milan finally make contact to seal ambitious January move for 22-year-old

The Milan transfer team has reached out to Chelsea, aiming for an ambitious move in the upcoming winter window for Benoît Badiashile, a defender from the Blues. Milan’s hierarchy is actively seeking defensive reinforcements for the latter part of the season due to long-term injuries to Pierre Kalulu, Marco Pellegrino, and ongoing fitness issues with Simon Kjær and Malick Thiaw’s recent hamstring injury.

Numerous defenders have been rumored as potential signings for San Siro, and the latest addition to this list is Chelsea’s Benoît Badiashile. According to TuttomercatoWeb’s Marco Conterio, Milan is interested in securing the French international, who has faced setbacks this season due to a persistent hamstring issue since May.

However, now fully fit and eager for playing time, Badiashile is speculated to join Milan on loan in the new year.

The report indicates initial contact has been made, yet it remains uncertain if Chelsea would consider such a deal. Despite this uncertainty, relations between the two clubs have been positive, evident from previous transfers involving Olivier Giroud, Fikayo Tomori, Christian Pulisic, and Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
