Milan dealt transfer blow as 23-year-old confirms he won’t leave current club any time soon

AC Milan’s chances of signing Akor Adams from Montpellier in January have been dashed after the striker stated that he is not in a hurry to go.

Adams is one of the center-forward options Milan has been connected with in recent weeks as they attempt to bolster their attacking options in the January transfer window.

Adams, on the other hand, only joined Montpellier during the most recent summer transfer window after spending half a season with Lillestrm in Norway. He’s adjusted well, having scored seven goals in 11 Ligue 1 appearances this season.

Adams was interviewed by AllezPaillade and was asked how he is finding life at Montpellier so far, with no indication of a desire to switch clubs anytime soon.

MHSC : qui est Akor Adams, déjà co-meilleur buteur de Ligue 1 ?

“I am content with my current circumstance and position. It is an excellent atmosphere for a young player to develop. In Montpellier, I have everything I need. I am pleased with my decision to attend a club that looks after me. “I’m happy because I have an excellent team around me,” he remarked.

“I’m young and I rest as much as possible. I do what I have to do. I played 17 games before arriving at the MHSC, physically speaking it’s a lot, but here we have one of the best medical staff.

“I’m there for everything what we need and I take care of myself as much as possible. I think I can continue like this.”

Adams then spoke about how he is finding life in France after his experience in Scandinavia.

“Ligue 1 is a much more important league. It is in the ‘top five’ in Europe. The intensity of the game is not the same as in Norway, Physically the matches demand a lot. Furthermore, everyone can beat everyone. It’s special! The quality of the players is also different.”
