AC Milan man finally confirms move to join Premier League club

Casper Stylsvig has stated that he will leave AC Milan for a fresh challenge back in England, despite repeated reports to the contrary.

Milan have gained enormously in worldwide appeal thanks to new sponsorships and collaborations since Elliott Management took control of the club in 2018 and since the shift in ownership to RedBird Capital.

Given his involvement in negotiating those new agreements, it is perhaps not surprising that Stylsvig has become in high demand. Chelsea came calling, and he opted to return to England, where he had worked for Manchester United and Fulham.

The executive acknowledged the transfer in a LinkedIn article, thanking colleagues he worked with in Milan and providing some insight into why he made the switch.

“After almost 5 years at AC Milan, I have made the decision to make the move to Chelsea Football Club as Chief Revenue Officer,” he stated in a statement.

“Many thanks to everyone who made my time at AC Milan so rewarding – it’s been incredible to see what the Club has accomplished in the last few years!”

“As I start my new role, I’m excited to be a part of the talented Executive Leadership Team at CFC and ready to take on a new challenge.”
