Bruno Guimaraes names three players who Newcastle desperately need back right now

Newcastle United are now without several key players, much to Bruno Guimaraes’ chagrin.

Newcastle is currently suffering from an injury problem, which has resulted in the Magpies losing back-to-back games. They were defeated 2-0 by Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League, followed by another 2-0 defeat. This time it went to Bournemouth in the Premier League, who have struggled thus far this season.

Newcastle’s great start to the season has been tarnished by those two defeats. However, with so many players currently missing, they are bracing for a difficult winter.

Eddie Howe’s roster is severely taxed, and it is unlikely to improve much when his team faces Chelsea straight following the international break.

Newcastle will be buoyed by the return of Bruno Guimaraes, who was suspended for the loss to Bournemouth.

He will return to the team and has named three players who are now missing for Newcastle.

Bruno Guimaraes thinks Newcastle are missing three ‘important players’

Bruno Guimaraes discussed Newcastle’s season so far with Milan News, and was asked what is currently going wrong for the Magpies.

“We are missing very important players like Tonali, Botman and Isak,” he told reporters.

Two of Newcastle’s stars will return soon hopefully

Newcastle is missing three of its most expensive players in history, according to Bruno.

Unfortunately, one of the players chosen by Bruno will not be able to play the balance of the season. That’s because Sandro Tonali is barred from betting until August 2024.

There is still optimism that Alexander Isak and Sven Botman will recover from their individual groin and knee injuries.

Following Callum Wilson’s injury, it has been claimed that Isak hopes to be available for selection again quickly after the international break.

Botman, meanwhile, is said to be close to returning to training after sustaining a knee ailment that the club has been unable to diagnose. They are hoping that rest will be enough for him to recuperate, and we will soon find out if that is the case.

Hopefully, Isak and Botman will be back in action soon, since Bruno believes their absence is causing severe problems for Newcastle United right now.
