Latest: AC Milan striker set to leave club at the end of the season

According to a source, Geoffrey Moncada has been searching throughout Europe for the striker who would likely lead AC Milan’s lineup in the future.

Calciomercato.com claims that Olivier Giroud has an expiring contract and will turn 38 the following season; Luka Jovic, on the other hand, is set to wave farewell at the end of the season given his lack of impact.

Because of this, Milan is starting to prioritize the conversation of bringing in a new striker, and they will definitely look into the potential of moving the signing up to January.

Regarding goals, Jonathan David is still “on the top step of the podium,” but Moncada has been watching Montpellier games where Akor Adams, a 23-year-old striker from Nigeria, is still making an impression.

With seven goals in 11 games since joining the French club, who paid €4 million to get him from Lillestroem during the summer, they are seeing an opportunity to profit handsomely.

Despite being only 190 cm tall, Adams possesses great physical and aerial strength, with speed being one of his strongest suit. In the upcoming weeks, Milan will keep a close eye on him and decide whether to initiate talks with Montpellier.
