If He Doesn’t Start – Richard Keys Issues Warning To Burnley Boss Vincent Kompany

Richard Keys has warned Vincent Kompany that if he does not change his ways at Burnley, he will not live to see the Clarets relegated from the Premier League.

The Clarets, who were promoted at the end of last season after winning the Championship, have struggled to deal with the pressures of the top flight.

They are currently in 19th place with four points from eleven games, with their only victory coming against fellow strugglers Luton Town.

Keys is skeptical of Burnley manager Vincent Kompany’s future and believes the 37-year-old needs to change his approach immediately while listening to some of the coaching staff.

“How much longer has Vincent Kompany got at Burnley?” Keys wrote on his blog.

“If he doesn’t start listening to some of his coaching staff and change he won’t be around to see them relegated.”

Burnley had planned to bring in an official drummer to boost the matchday atmosphere at Turf Moor, but they backed down after a fan backlash.

Keys believes that an official drummer will not solve the club’s form problems.

“Bringing in an official drummer isn’t the answer.

“Tightening up and not being so easy to play against is.”

Kompany, who has led the Burnley team since the summer of 2022, is under contract with the club until the summer of 2028.
