Newcastle United will have to come up with something special to beat Arsenal on Saturday night.
That is the opinion of TalkSPORT pundit Gabby Agbonlahor, who has praised Arsenal’s ability to dig out results this season.
Both teams competed in the Carabao Cup this week, but their fortunes were very different. While Newcastle celebrated a famous victory over Manchester United, Arsenal were defeated in a London derby by West Ham.
Despite the fact that Mikel Arteta fielded a strong team, Declan Rice, Martin Odegaard, William Saliba, and Gabriel Martinelli were all left out.
However, they will be in the same situation as Newcastle, whose squad has been stretched in recent weeks.
It should be a fantastic game of football at St James’ Park, and it will be another test for Eddie Howe’s side, who are currently on an extremely difficult run.

Agbonlahor has made his predictions for this weekend’s Premier League games for TalkSPORT. He predicts a 2-1 victory for Arsenal at St James’ Park.
“On Saturday at 5:30pm, Newcastle are at home to Arsenal,” he added.
“This is a difficult game. Arsenal knows how to produce results. They’ve had some tough games, but they’re getting over the hump and producing results.
“St James’ Park in Newcastle is a fortress.” They’ve had success against Arsenal in previous seasons.
“However, I believe Arsenal will win this game.” I’m going with a 2-1 win for Arsenal.”
Very tough game for Newcastle this weekend
Newcastle will face a major test on Saturday night. The games are coming thick and fast, and the level of competition is rising.
While Manchester United is a massive club, they barely fought on Wednesday. Arsenal will be a much tougher test, and they will be desperate for all three points as they pursue the Premier League title.
If Newcastle wins, it will be a huge accomplishment. It would undoubtedly be the Magpies’ biggest Premier League victory of the season.
