Chris Sutton believes Aston Villa will defeat Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
Forest are 16th in the Premier League and have struggled for wins recently under head coach Steve Cooper. Meanwhile, Villa are fifth in the league, just one point behind the top four, and are performing well.
For this weekend’s game, Sutton predicts a 0-2 score. He claims Forest are “difficult to beat” at home, but Villa aren’t “finding it difficult against anyone” right now.
“Whenever Nottingham Forest are at home they are difficult to beat, but I don’t think Aston Villa are finding it difficult against anyone at the moment,” Sutton said in an interview with BBC Sport.
“Unai Emery’s team is playing with such confidence and is so well set up.” They score a lot of goals, and Forest will find it difficult to stop them.
“I recall Stephen Warnock backing Villa to finish in the top four at the start of the season, and in all honesty, I thought that was a stretch, but it isn’t looking such a bad bet now.”
“Forest have gone six games without a win, drawing four of them. That’s seen them slip down the table but I don’t see them getting dragged into the relegation battle. Compared to the teams below them, they have got more than enough to stay up.”
