According to a report, AC Milan wants their next striker to have the same stature as Olivier Giroud, which influences which players they pursue throughout the season.
According to Calciomercato.com, Milan are looking for a certain type of forward, and one player on the market who fits the bill is RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko.
The 20-year-old stands 1.94 meters tall and has scored six goals in 12 appearances for the Bundesliga club this season.
Milan had previously tracked him when Paolo Maldini met with his agent prior to his move from RB Salzburg to Leipzig.
Financially, it would be a difficult decision, as he would most likely cost between €45 and €50 million. The figures discussed previously were closer to €20 million, but he has improved at Leipzig.
Arsenal and Chelsea are also interested, but Sesko is not the only striker of this profile that Milan is considering, with 4-5 potential targets reported.
